5. KENSO
vs. Kengo Mashimo
Shame,
what a damn shame. What would normally be a totally fine brawl was ruined in
those 20 seconds when Mashimo piled up a bunch of chairs on the totally
conscious KENSO’s hand/arm and kept bashing it with another chair. Shit man, at
least punch him in the face few times, make a setup more compelling and less
super fake and contrived. The match jumped the shark right there, and like I
said, it’s a damn shame because the rest was mostly good, even great in moments,
and without that ultra stupid moment I’d probably have it around ***-***1/4. It
might seem like I’m nitpicking, but trust me, that’s not the case here because
that one spot is a major dealbreaker.

Tremendous
show, but I was in a rush so I wasn’t really able to write a quasi-proper lazy
ass review, and then few days later I forgot what to write about each match so
it’s futile now, I’ll just leave you with shurikens. Basically, every match but KENSO/Kengo is very much worth of watching, believe
me. KENSO/Kengo is the only match I wrote about immediately after it
happened, but fuck me if I know why. Probably because it was bad, I dunno…
