(2015/6/28)

1.       Sanshiro Takagi, Toru Owashi, Kazuki Hirata, Saki Akai vs. Shigehiro Irie, Tomomitsu Matsunaga, Hoshitango, Shunma Katsumata

GOLD

2.       King of DDT 2015 – Semi-Final: Kazusada Higuchi vs. Yukio Sakaguchi

Great little match with an incredible climax full of sheer struggle and gnarly fighting spirit that had Korakuen melting. Higuchi is going places. Yukio’s lethal combo of hellish strikes, brutal holds and savvy tricks make him a frightening semi-shoot predator.

3.       King of DDT 2015 – Semi-Final: Konosuke Takeshita vs. Daisuke Sasaki

Sasaki’s American style blends so well with DDT style, this match had some nice brawling through the crowd, rough punches, overall good match with another strong finishing stretch.

***1/4

4.       4-WAY: Antonio Honda & Hiroshi Fukuda vs. Keisuke Ishii & Soma Takao vs. Danshoku Dino & Makoto Oishi vs. Kota Ibushi & Suguru Miyatake

A Dino match with asses and faces into those same asses. You know it. Weird, funny, amusing.

5.       KUDO, Masa Takanashi, MIKAMI vs. Smile Squash (HARASHIMA, Yasu Urano, Akito)

Pretty good workrate sprint.

***3/4

*** By pinning Masa, Yasu Urano wins his Right to Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Contract, and he decides to use it right here and right now on KUDO! ***

6.       3-WAY for KO-D Openweight Championship: Ken Ohka vs. Yasu Urano vs. KUDO ©

Heated match with Korakuen on FIRE! Near the end, with both KUDO and Urano being exhausted, here comes the one and only Ken Ohka to cash-in his very own Contract, Seth Rollins WM style! Man, this shit was awesome, pure entertainment, this is what pro-scraps is all about. Now we live in the world where Ken Ohka is the former KO-D Openweight Champion!

****1/4

*** But wait! Party’s not over yet, because KUDO is a dick and he ruins Ohka’s groovy celebration by cashing-in HIS very own contract for an immediate rematch! ***

7.       KO-D Openweight Championship: KUDO vs. Ken Ohka ©

Five minutes of sheer awesomeness, poor Ohka fought with all his heart but KUDO leveled up big time and it was just too much. Amazing!

8.       King of DDT 2015 – FINAL: Yukio Sakaguchi vs. Konosuke Takeshita

Fantastic match to cap off this wonderful show. Yukio dominates Takeshita early on with his tight, methodical and pain-inducing submission work, with the best part being Takeshita’s nifty selling. Seriously, he was ultra compelling, he looked like he got wrecked by Mike Tysons. Then Takeshita fights back with some mat control on his own, and then we enter the crucial phase – Takeshita’s quickness, flash and suplexes taking on Yukio’s absolutely devastating kicks, particularly knees. What will prevail? The final act of this clash is all sorts of fabulous and the finish is super brutal.

****1/2

Super duper amazing show, pure fun everywhere.
