Real
World Tag League 2014 – Suwama Debut 10th Anniversary
(2014/11/29)
1. Naoya
Nomura vs. Masanobu Fuchi
Strange
match where Nomura got very little to none offense, it was all about Fuchi
schooling him with basic and simple moves. Technically fine but lacked true
emotion.
**1/4
2. Takeshi
Minamino vs. Yohei Nakajima
Yohei
continues his hot streak of awesome performances by bringing the best out of
the Elvis impersonator, good match with solid matwork and great finish(ing
run).

4. GAORA TV Championship: Ryuji
Hijikata vs. Kotaro Suzuki ©
Massive
disappointment, I had such high hopes for this one, and rightfully so because
the build was smashing and Hijikata showed tremendous fire in the prelude
matches, it looked promising. But this was a gigantic bore, especially
disappointing after all those great prelude matches.
bad
5. RWTL 2014: Akebono & Yutaka
Yoshie vs. KENSO & Mitsuya Nagai
The
Dark Kingdom evildoing duo ambushed the fat dudes with some powder and we got
more than six minutes of quality brawling and beating before the FAT SLOB
comeback and win. Simple, effective, good. Akebono and YY are not the most
exciting guys to watch, but damn, they’re using the weight in offense so well.

6. RWTL 2014: Burning Wild (Jun Akiyama
& Takao Omori) vs. Go Shiozaki & Kento Miyahara
It’s
always tricky to do 30 min draws when they’re more than obvious, but these four
did a fine job. At moments it seemed they’re gearing towards the four star
territory, but they never quite got there, whether because of the lack of
Akiyama/Miyahara (they’re probably saving that for later) or the lack of
craziness in finishing run, I don’t really know, all I know is ***3/4 seems
like a picture perfect rating for the match.
***3/4
7. Suwama Debut 10th Anniversary:
Suwama & Atsushi Aoki vs. Joe Doering & Hikaru Sato
Good
celebration tag between the stable mates, kind of by-the-numbers but nothing
too harsh.
***1/4
