Heroes Inmortales IX (Part 2)

AAA Heroes Inmortales IX
 (2015/10/04)

3-WAY for Campeonato Mundial de Parejas AAA: Daga & Steve Pain vs. Angelico & Jack Evans vs. Pentagon Jr. & Joe Lider ©

Amazingly kickass 3-way, just pure and straight-forward wreckage, with Joe Lider shit cut to the minimum, for once he didn’t get to spend three minutes onto his staplegun gimmick and instead he was just throwing some really rad slaps at others. He did use the thumbtacks, but it turned out okay. All the guys were awesome in this one, with Pentagon, Pain and Evans being slightly more awesome than everyone else, but let it stop there, because I’d feel uncomfortable singling out someone and neglecting the others. Excellent match.

10-WAY BATTLE ROYAL for 2015 Copa Antonio Pena: Hijo del Pirata Morgan vs. Aerostar vs. Averno vs. Nino Hamburguesa vs. Electroshock vs. Parka vs. Taurus vs. Cibernetico vs. Blue Demon Jr. vs. Chessman

Best possible Battle Royal considering the very nature of the match gimmick and AAA’s history within it. The match had many awesome moments, such as Aerostar’s obligatory crazy dive, Averno chairshotting Aerostar, Taurus getting an instant push and eliminating everyone (HERO!), Nino Hambuerguesa doing his fat man dive, Parka comedy and finally – TAURUS WINNING THE WHOLE DAMN THING! Oh yeah, I will remember this one!

Myzteziz, Texano Jr., Hijo del Fantasma vs. Rey Mysterio Jr., Psycho Clown, Garza Jr.

Match of the Year for AAA, mos def. Long, epic and super fun trio clash, with intense asskicking, light-hearted comedy and some amazing spots. It’s been fucking YEARS since the last time Rey-Rey was this intense against someone, him and Myzteziz displayed their best chemistry to date, they were just going HAM at each other, including the nasty chop battles. Rey-Rey was a great fired-up babyface here, and Myzteziz was truly enjoying his rudo role, the heat was nuclear. Garza Jr. was a debuting surprise luchador and did a helluva job in putting himself over right off the bat, he was doing all the Garza family spots and looked good in defeat. Psycho Clown owned once again with his swag and comedy, while Texano and Fantasma were like a perfect pair of goofy B-movie villains who die in a car chase. If I had to summarize the match into a one word, it’d be “FUN”. Tons and tons of it.
