NXT TakeOver: R Evolution

(2014/12/11)

Kevin Owens vs. CJ Parker

It’s only fitting that Steen bled in his WWE debut, hehe. Fantastic debut where he carried himself like a true boos he is, a beast. The fact that the crowd didn’t even dare to chant “Steen” speaks volumes. Good shit.

The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor) vs. Hideo Itami & Finn Balor

I actually loved this. First time seeing The Ascension and they look like a great throwback duo that loves to beat people up, they seem damn good at it. They made this match great, as far as I’m concerned. Itami was decent FIP and Balor was a good hot tag. The match was very simple in its layout, I love it that way. Btw, I don’t care for Devitt’s paint or “kewl entrances”, it was cool for a first couple of times, but now it’s just meh. He’s trying too hard to be unique, it’s not clicking with me.

NXT Women’s Championship: Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte ©

Wow, what a fantastic match, pure enjoyment. First time seeing both girls, btw. Apparently Charlotte’s character trait is that she’s “genetically superior” and fuck me, she really looks and acts that way, she’s got that rough half-tranny Southern look and it works in her favor, at least in NXT. She’s a natural Flair. Sasha Banks was the star of the match, though, this was one performance for the ages, she worked like a super experienced pro, superb heel performance from her. Now if you asked me why exactly am I rating the match this fucking high, I could not tell you, I just feel like ****1/2 is so totally suitable for this marvelous match. Great build, great execution, great selling, what can I say, enjoy these ladies in NXT while you can.

NXT Championship: Sami Zayn vs. Adrian Neville ©

I dunno, this is definitely nowhere near being a top classic match everyone’s selling. Good match, yes, but ultimately disappointing considering the storyline importance and all the hype. My biggest gripe is the lack of organic feeling, things were too mechanical in the pacing and structure, and that’s the old PAC flaw that still lives in him I see. What really sealed the deal, though, was the stupid second ref bump and Zayn’s moral dilemma, I don’t buy that D-level movie shit in my wrestling. I also didn’t like the physical aspect of the selling, they weren’t good at it here, although the emotional aspect was spot on. Good main event, but very overrated at this point.

LADDER MATCH for WWE Intercontinental Championship: Dolph Ziggler vs. Luke Harper ©

Nice ladder match that didn’t suffer from excessive and contrived stupidity that hurts most of the ladder matches. Harper was excellent, Ziggler bumped very hard and there you go, good match. Don’t care for Ziggler, but credit where credit is due, he was good here.

WWE TLC 2014

(2014/12/14)

TLC MATCH: Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt

Meh, the hell with this shit, a bad main event where neither guy looked like a main eventer. Simply put, shit was boring. Ambrose should keep his tongue inside his mouth, btw, he looks like an imbecile doing all the moronic faces all the time, he’s trying too hard and making a lame poser out of himself.

bad
