Super
Fly, Carta Brava Jr., Machine Rocker vs. Australian Suicide, Venum, Super Nova
Fuuuuck,
this was even slightly better than the previous week’s (but same show actually)
trio match. Fantastic shit right there, from Super Fly being a surly aggressor,
Machine Rocker being the best possible Psicosis, to the tecnicos doing some
truly buggy flying things. It’s official now – Australian Suicide is awesome.
Incredibly retarded ring name, though. Venum looks like someone who could
repeat Aerostar’s success in Lucha Underground. Machine Rocker also belongs
there, great and underrated guy. This is a must-see sprint.

3-WAY:
Dark Cuervo & Dark Scoria vs. Angelico & Jack Evans vs. Pentagon Jr.
& Joe Lider
Mostly fun
and trashy 3-way tag, they started off with that shitty “one duo waits on apron”
rule, but thankfully hell broke loose relatively fast. Pentagon was as awesome
as always, Lider was not totally useless for once, La Secta boys kind of were,
though, and Angelico and Evans did their pretty white boy shtick very well once
again, all in all the match was good.

Myzteziz
& Mesias vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. & Fenix
Final
chapter was very strong, the beginning was good, but the middle portion was
full of over-the-top stalling. Now, I do like stalling because it’s the easiest
tool to create some neat psychology and mental games, but Myzteziz really
overstayed his welcome here. He kept intercepting the flow of the match with
constant rudo antics. But thankfully they got enough time to make the closing
stretch awesome, and to make up for the mediocre middle stages. Also, Rey-Rey
was not the smoothest guy in the world here. Fenix was immense, and Mesias,
while not being Mil Muertes, still managed to be good enough.
