Taya
& Hiedra vs. Faby Apache & Goya Kong
Good opener,
but not on the levels of other AAA openers, probably due to lack of minis. And
Gran Apache, lol. But still, this was good enough, rock solid mix of comedy and
asskicking.

Drago
& Argenis vs. Gran Apache & Hijo del Pirata Morgan
This came
out of nowhere, but turned out to be an amazing goddamn match! I was totally
caught off guard by how violent and stiff the match was. Honestly, it felt like
a gnarly culmination of a long-running feud or something, there’s no chance in
hell you’d tell this match was just thrown together. Super intense shit, packed
with heat and hate, there was so much hard slaps, chops and stomps, and I
adored how they kept shifting between brawling and usual acrobatics,
back-and-forth. All four guys were excellent here, major kudos to everyone!

3-WAY:
Angelico & Jack Evans vs. Texano Jr. &
Hijo del Fantasma vs. Pentagon Jr. & Joe Lider
Best 3-way
tag in a long ass while, just a nonstop 4-on-2 action, with great beatdowns and
even greater comebacks by Angelico and Evans. This match was also pretty stiff
and you could hear nasty sounds of smack-throwing all over the place. Pentagon
ruled the world once again, while Angelico and Evans were absolutely stellar as
valiant tecnico fighters constantly going against all odds. Also, I’m so
digging the Texano-Fantasma duo, great chemistry there.

Myzteziz,
Mesias, Brian Cage vs. Rey Mysterio Jr., Psycho Clown, Fenix
Great main
event, with minimum shenanigans, everything was about good old asskicking here,
no bullshit or unnecessary stalling. Rudo gang beatdowns, energetic hope spots,
crazy flying and topes, awesome little match-ups everywhere, stiff kicks and
punches… Marvelous match! Fenix totally belongs in main event scene.
