AAA 10/09

AAA 2015/10/09

Mamba, Lady Shani, Argos vs. Pimpinela Escarlata, Maravilla, Nino Hamburguesa

Really bad opener. Off sync, bad timing, glaring semi-botches, etc. Nino and Shani looked good, the rest did not, and Pimpi was awful.

bad

AAA 2015/10/09

Dark Cuervo, Dark Scoria, Super Fly vs. Bengala, Argenis, Australian Suicide

Good little sprint that would’ve been much better with someone else instead of La Secta guys (I’m sure you’ve heard this sentence before). Australian Suicide hit two phenomenal tornillos, and generally he might be the best “prelim” guy in the company these days. Sweet match, no true complaints here.

***1/4

AAA 2015/10/09

Taurus, Hijo del Fantasma, Joe Lider vs. Angelico, Jack Evans, Drago

The TAURUS show. He was catching the técnicos mid-air, throwing them around hard, smacking the shit out of them… I love Taurus! It must be fucking exhausting to work with all that equipment and props all over him, therefore his work is even more impressive all things considered.

AAA 2015/10/09

Daga, Steve Pain, Hijo del Pirata Morgan vs. Parka, Aerostar, Super Nova

Easy pick for Match of the Night. Awesome clash with everyone working hard, but with Aerostar working slightly harder and better than the rest, I mean seriously, dude was on a whole another level here. Great, heated match with two nifty rudo workovers, and tecnico hope spots meant a lot because of it. Super Nova needs to be a regular on AAA TV.

AAA 2015/10/09

Mesias, Texano Jr., Pentagon Jr. vs. Alberto el Patron, Psycho Clown, Fenix

Not good, which is quite shocking for a main event loaded with great talent. It seemed Fenix was the only one working a big match style, with everyone else working like they’re on a gig for some kid’s 10th birthday. Too much awkwardness, bad timing and unnecessary crowd-pandering, not nearly enough heat and organic ingredients. Probably the most disappointing AAA match in 2015.

**3/4
