Daga, Hijo del Pirata Morgan, Machine Rocker, Steve Pain vs. Aerostar, Australian Suicide, Mr. 450, Speedball

Oh shit, it’s Machine Rocker! So good to see him back (cough, cough..), no one mauls small tecnicos like he does. Speedball had one helluva christening here, taking a monstrous beating from Machine Rocker. Speedball is awesome, he looked good as a rag doll, but looked even better on offense. Mr. 450 is nothing special and I don’t know why AAA would use him when they have so much other lowcard/midcard talent hanging around doing next to nothing. Daga and Aussie are having a great, heated feud, I love it. Pirata and Pain are standards. Great atomico match, and impressive debut by Speedball, he was put in this match with some tremendous workers, and worked out just fine.

Taurus, Hijo del Fantasma, Texano Jr. vs. Angelico, Jack Evans, Garza Jr.

TAURUS! What a man! He’s simply the best, trust me. I hope he gets a SUPER MEGA HYPER DUPER push! Fantasma was also great here, he probably busted out his best AAA performance of the year. He wrestled like a true prick, using nothing but shoot style kicks and low dropkicks. Doozy! Texano and Garza did an awesome homage to Shibata and Ishii from that magical Osaka night. Garza Jr. is insanely talented and I hope they keep it real with him. Angelico and Evans were as great as they always are. Such a great match!

Hell Brothers (Cibernetico, Chessman, Averno) vs. Parka, Monster Clown, Murder Clown

Short and sweet match, first it was an ambush brawl (typical), then it turned into a perfectly paced tecnico comeback festival with Parka proving one more time what a highly intelligent wrestler he is. Dude practically works with only one arm, but he’s just so fucking smart and knows how to hide his limitations in these tags, it’s brilliant. Chessman and Murder Clown were really good here. Ciber fucking sucked. Good little clash!

Johnny Mundo & Electroshock vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. & Psycho Clown

Damn good match, but would’ve been great if Psycho Clown didn’t look clueless in few moments for the second time in a row. I hope it doesn’t become a trend, dammit! He hit a Canadian Destroyer on such a random place and it looked totally awkward. Again. Anyway, onto good things now, and there was plenty of those, such as Rey-Rey being great again as a valiant superhero fighting evil villanos and even more evil referees. His role was, more or less, limited to being the hot tag, but he was perfect in it. Mundo was good, Electro was rock solid. Great finishing run. The post-match with Mundo laying some smackdown on Rey-Rey and Electro turning tecnico was well done. I’m cautiously optimistic for his feud with Pirata Junior.
