disappointment, nothing even close to an out-of-control Arena Naucalpan mayhem
I was secretly expecting. It was the worst possible version of Park vs. Wagner,
with all the posing, shenanigans, annoying stalling and screwy finish. Wagner
was the worst here with all the unnecessary posing and crap like that. Such a
real life douche, but you gotta give him credit for being a smart worker who
knows how to get and stay over with the crowds with minimal fucking efforts.
Even when Park and Wagner actually wrestled, it was painfully average, with
lots of sloppiness and low-bump shortcuts. Wagner’s son was useless here.
Terrible wrestler. The Traumas and Golden Magic were the saving graces of the
match, they did some cool and fancy shit and made sure the match stays somewhat
coherent. I also liked some brawling portions but those were rare,
unfortunately. Such a meh match.

After
reading those names, I know what you’re thinking, and you’re absolutely right.
But let me just say the match was decent after all, even with things being on
the verge of falling apart multiple times during segunda.

Great match,
mostly a Trauma II carryjob, but credit where credit is due – Golden Magic did
have his moments, such as that amazing finish and few energetic comebacks. But
yeah, this was mostly a T2 show, he made the champion look like a true champion
in the early phase where they traded fancy holds on the mat. It wasn’t exactly the
best feeling out process you’ll see, but it was good enough, there was a clear
sense of struggle. Then they shifted to a much more aggressive style, which got
Trauma disqualified because of it, I loved how ref made it clear to him this
was a title match, and not some bar fight. Segunda was awesome with Trauma
enforcing a true badass rudo control segment, and then the final chapter was
really dramatic because no one expected from Trauma to lose 0-2, and that’s why
IWRG deserves some major props for booking here. Awesome match!
