This is how you do it! Honest to god, this was one of the greatest go-home shows I've ever seen. Like, Top 10 material, easily. Both the segments and the matches advanced so much.
Mundo/Texano was awesome and fueled their respective beefs with Demon and El Patron. Texano and Alberto staying away from each other despite both being tecnicos now was such a nice touch.
Mack/Cage as a bell-to-bell was too short to rate, but the post-match brawl being vicious and Dario booking them for Ultima Lucha turned the whole thing into a smashing angle. Good stuff!
Dario's in-ring promo where he explained what the Gift of the Gods and seven medallions were all about was excellent and led to Fenix coming back. Dario is a dick and obviously made him fight for the medallion he already won months ago. The Battle Royal was nothing special, just a decent sprint with all the familiar names/jobbers. The last two-three minutes with Fenix and The Moth were good.
The segments were all amazing, we got two scenes from Dario's office, one with Big Ryck and one with Shawn "Shaun" Hernandez. Fantastic and funny shit, full of camp and cheesy puns, loved it.
And finally, to cap off this wonderful edition of Lucha Underground, Prince Puma destroyed the entire Catrina's pack of the undead, and yes, that includes Mil Muertes too. Electrifying segment that was, and great final build towards their big season finale clash for Puma's strap.
