CMLL 2015/5/5
Terrible,
Rey Bucanero, Vangelis vs. Ingobernables (Rush, Sombra, Mascara)
This was a solid,
hard-hitting brawl that could’ve been much better if it actually got some time,
because all three falls were too short here. At least in tercera Rush and
Terrible did a surly tribute to their great feud from few years ago.

16-MAN
CIBERNETICO por Torneo Rey del Aire 2015:
Sombra, Stuka Jr., Delta, Triton, Dragon Lee, Gran Guerrero, Puma, Virus vs.
Fuego, Tiger, Kamaitachi, Angel de Oro, Misterioso Jr., Cavernario, Guerrero
Maya Jr., Niebla Roja
This one had
its problems but overall it was fun and perky, the finishing run with Sombra
and Stuka left was particularly awesome.

Mistico,
Atlantis, Rush vs. Thunder, Negro Casas, Kamaitachi
Yes, Thunder
is the captain of his trio. And yes, he was good in this one, pacing himself
well and finally realizing that minimalism is awesome, he was damn fine in
using smoke & mirrors with Rush. Speaking of Rush, he didn’t look out of
place in the tecnico team and he still got to be his usual self. Kamaitachi
totally belongs in CMLL main event scene and I really hope Atlantis/Casas leads
to a big singles match, their chemistry is super.

Mephisto
vs. Volador Jr.
Basically,
this was an every Volador match ever: short falls 1 and 2, long and “epic”
tercera loaded with big moves, dives, topes, kickouts, etc. He also watches
Lucha Underground judging by his Johnny Mundo pants.

MATCH
RELAMPAGO: Guerrero Maya Jr. vs. Virus
You know
what you get with Maya and Virus, this was another great match from these two.
Virus always finds new ways to make his lightning matches different from each
other, and he did it again here. Maya is slowly but surely getting out of shape
in midsection and it’s really sad to see, but deep down I can’t blame him, he’s
getting very little chances to shine in CMLL.
