DTU is basically a CZW/BJW inspired lucha promotion, but from what I have witnessed, not as nearly as good. This match sucked, it lasted a very long 27 minutes and while they didn’t go all out in doing stupid shit, it was still bad. I appreciated the relatively good pace they worked, as it gave us time to absorb the violent spots easier, but they were kind of dull, they seemed to have struggles whether they want to be an authentic ultraviolent lucha or Big Japan/Combat Zone tribute act. Whatever it is, it sure as hell didn’t work here. These two guys are just not very good at pro-wrestling, at least judging from this match. I love no sell sequences when done right, but these two sucked at it, especially the challenger, they came across as two total wannabes. Bad match.
