Titan, Blue Panther Jr., The Panther vs. Mr. Aguila, Cavernario, Boby Zavala

Totally fun little super fast trio completely carried by Cavernario owning it, he was the star of the rudo team, his sessions with Titan and especially with The Panther (fka Cachorro) were magnificent. Titan, the big young star in CMLL, was pinned twice here, go figure. CMLL does the strangest things sometimes.

MATCH RELAMPAGO: Dragon Rojo Jr. vs. Cavernario

It’s only fitting that Barbaro Cavernario ended his stellar 2014 by owning the damn fool. Yet another awesome performance from him, he’s something else, that mesmerizing energy and amazing pacing, so young but so damn great.

Guerrero Maya Jr., Rey Cometa, The Panther vs. Virus, Hechicero, Cavernario

But wait! There’s more of the Caveman, here’s the extra special bonus trio that’s totally fun, with some ballsy as fuck booking where they had Virus losing to Maya twice in a row, both times from the same hold. We’re still waiting for that Virus/Panther title match. Cavernario, obviously, has a stellar chemistry with just about everyone.

Mascara Dorada vs. Mephisto

Two quick caidas, nothing to write home about. The tercera was just a decent spotfest, so overall what we got here is nothing but a painfully average mano a mano.

Atlantis, Volador Jr., Maximo vs. Shocker, Rey Bucanero, Terrible

Totally fun match with some really good looking pairings (Atlantis/Terrible), the rudo trio were good pricks and the tecnicos’ comebacks were nifty enough.

CMLL 2014/10/17

MATCH RELAMPAGO: Dragon Lee vs. Kamaitachi

Motherfucker, these two did some very nasty things to each other here, all that in six minutes only, Kama went lucha on DL, DL went puro on Kama, probably the best 5-6 min match of the year, and I have no problems with throwing four f’n stars at this, it was such an enjoyable match with a devastating finish.
