Aries vs. Davey Richards
Hey, hey,
hey! A 2015 Davey Richards match that didn’t insult my intelligence! Now sure,
it has something to do with Aries being his opponent, but credit where credit
is due, Davey did a good job in making small things matter, and his strikes
were purposeful and really stiff. His angry-jacked-midget-with-puffed-pony-legs
persona is super annoying and legitimately obnoxious, but at least it didn’t
affect this match too much. Aries is a pro’s pro, he did a great job at being a
subtle heel and all his usual spots and sequences looked awesome. This was his
last match for TNA and just like every time before, he did well. It takes a
tremendous talent to make Davey Richards look good!
