ROH/NJPW Global Wars 2015
(2015/5/15)
1. Silas
Young & Takaaki Watanabe vs. Moose & Gedo
Fun opener
that served its purpose, it was a decent match with some nice plots and
subplots. I don’t get the Moose hype. Watanabe is ready to come back to NJPW.
IMO.
**3/4
2. 3-WAY:
Chris Sabin vs. Kyle O’Reilly vs. KUSHIDA
Yuck!
Boring, moronic, o’reillysh.
bad
3. Michael
Bennett & Matt Taven vs. Jushin Liger & Matt Sydal
Solid
midcard tag, Sydal looked fine, Liger owned the crowd, but Bennett and Taven
sucked as usual. Also, Maria is the ugliest.
**3/4
4. Cedric
Alexander vs. Kazuchika Okada
Really good
match, Cedric was such a pleasant surprise, great performance here, he fucking
knows how to sell and adds nice subtlety to it, he has awesome attacking moves
and comeback spots, he’s very athletic, but unlike most of other black guys, he
uses it super well. And yet they picked WOAT Lelgin for the G1, lmao…
***3/4
5. 3-WAY:
Roppongi Vice (Rocky Romero & Beretta) vs. BJ Whitmer & Adam Page vs.
The Addiction (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian)
Another
3-way tag with one team waiting on the apron, smh… Daniels getting wasted in
all these irrelevant tags but at the same time WOAT Elgin gets Naito, KUSHIDA
and Tanahashi, lmaooo… Fuck Ring of Honor.
bad
6. ACH
vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
Good match
overall, but nothing I’d call great or special. Just… a match! ACH stopped
being a fresh, innovative act a long ass time ago, and now is just another
black dude who can jump very high and not much else. No substance, no depth,
just jumping around and flash. Crappy comedy doesn’t count. Nakamura just went
through his motions here, but those are good motions, mind you.

7. ROH TV Championship: Tetsuya
Naito vs. Jay Lethal ©
A Jay Lethal
match.
**
8. WOAT
Michael Elgin vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi
Not even the
Ace of the Universe could carry WOAT to a good match.
**3/4
9. ROH
All Stars (Jay Briscoe, Mark Briscoe, Roderick Strong, Hanson, Ray Rowe) vs. Bullet
Club (AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, Doc Gallows, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson)
Hokey much?
bad
